Judith Foy is a retired Consultant Anaesthetist with a life long interest in art .This is reflected in the title of her forthcoming illustrated talk ART and MEDICINE. This will take place on Saturday 17th March at 11am at the gallery with coffee served from 10.30am.

Artists throughout the ages, from the drawings of the early anatomists to present day painters, have sought to examine life in all its dimensions including the vicissitudes of ill health. In doing so, artists endeavour to cast light upon the human condition.
