Thursday 15th Feb Artist dinahvagina will give a talk on her life and work for the Women's Art Association starting at 7pm at Llanover Hall 25 Romilly Rd, Cardiff CF5 1FH. Free entry. The talk is women only. There will also be a follow up workshop on Sat 17th Feb. at Arcade, Cardiff.

Travellers' Gallery


can be found on Platform 1,Barry Station. Barry CF62 7RH.


A fascinating collection of Railway Badges is currently on display in the Travellers cafe gallery. Note that the gallery is open from 7.30am to 12 noon on Mondays to Fridays.


This gallery is part of the café and it hosts a series of exhibitions throughout the year in aid of 'Mind in the Vale' and with the valued help of VOGA members who voluntarily curate the exhibitions.






Free lectures organised by C A S W- The Contemporary Arts Society of Wales

These take place on Tuesday evenings at 7.30 pm in the Birt Acres Lecture theatre in Cardiff University's Bute Building [ on King Edward VII Avenue CF10 3NB] which is home to both the School of Journalism and School of Architecture. Parking space is ample at this time and the venue is just 8 minutes on foot from Cathays train station. A number of ACF members have been attending these excellent sessions for a few years.

The lectures last about an hour and are FREE. The speakers are practising artists or art historians.
