David March, Solo Exhibition: Palaces & Places of Wales, 22 April – 3 June 2023
Excellent talk with David March who recounted a long and varied career in commercial art and now paints Welsh landscapes, still lives and commissions. After an hour-long talk and viewing of his work in the exhibition, he demonstrated his techniques in building up a painting currently in progress. David also showed examples of his work on pub signs. He had many anecdotes, ranging from art school memories to working as a graphic illustrator in Fleet Street.
