Saturday 12th October 7.00 pm at St Francis Millennium Hall a talk by Dr Jonathan Hicks on the life of Margaret Lindsey Williams. Maggie, as she liked to be known, was a superb artist who was commissioned to produce portraits of Princess Elizabeth, Queen Elizabeth II, Queen Mary and many more of the great and good. The talk is arranged with the intention to raise funds to assist with purchasing a fitting memorial for Maggie who is buried in the Merthyr Dyfan cemetery in an unmarked grave. The talk will be fascinating and is in such a good cause. There will be a raffle to help further with the donation and any gifts to be added to the raffle will be welcome. Please contact us to confirm if you have a gift that can be donated.
